I always return to the same place. Not a geographical place, but a state — that moment when memory and image part ways, and what remains is neither one nor the other.
My work moves in the borderland between photography and the unconscious. I work with the image as a physical material that carries time, not as a representation, but as a fragment. In the darkroom, in the installation space, in the light of the analog television: the image is never finished. It is always in the process of becoming or of dissolving.
It is the same movement, but with a sharper question: what does the body know that the system cannot code? I explore this at the intersection of artistic intuition and rationalizing logic — in the phenomenology of exhaustion, in the friction of the manual process, in the silence that arises when intention is gone. This is not a break with the practice. It is the next layer of practice.Exhibitions
